Provably fair: how it works
Provably fair means you can recompute any result yourself: the site locks a secret seed before you play, you add your own, and once it is revealed anyone can check.
Check a result on the verify page or read the code that decides it.
Commit, mix, reveal
- Commit. Before you bet, the site shows the SHA-256 hash of a secret server seed. The hash fixes the seed.
- Mix. HMAC-SHA256 of the server seed and
clientSeed:nonce:cursor(your seed, your bet count, a counter) gives bytes; every four become a number from zero to one. - Reveal. A new seed pair shows the old server seed. Hash it, compare, and recompute every bet made with it.
How each game reads the numbers
| Game | Numbers drawn | How they become the result |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus roll | 1 | The first number times the prize range, rounded down, is the lucky number. |
| Claim × | 2 | The first number gives the claim multiplier by the Limbo rule; the second gives the faucet jackpot number. |
Every game also turns one more number into its jackpot number, so the jackpot never changes a game result. Games that unfold step by step draw all their numbers when the round begins.
Limits, edge and other draws
Limits
A fair result is not a favourable one: the edge stays, the expected result of playing is a loss, and rewards can be zero.
Where the coins go: the live economy.
Draws
- Faucet claims draw their multiplier and jackpot number the same way, from a seed pair of their own; each claim has a verify link.
